About Me

你好. Hello, as the creator of this blog, I feel I should share some of this blog's purposes:

GLOBE Program 2009/2010
I set up this blog to share a bit about my life as I live the ultimate global adventure through UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School Program called GLOBE (Global Learning Opportunities in Business Education).

Through competitive application process and interview, each school selects 15 students to take part on this tri-continental pioneering undergraduate business experience.  First attending Copenhagen Business School in the Fall 2009, we visited both Berlin, Germany and Brussels, Belgium in addition to learning about the corporate responses to the EU integration, as well as strategic management, organizational behavior, and European sports economics if you were lucky enough like I was (the class was taught 30% in Danish).

From there, we attend the Chinese University of Hong Kong with focuses on business in China, marketing in China, financial management, and investment portfolio analysis management.  We will visit Beijing and Tokyo as our study trips.

The summer of 2010 is on our own, I will be a summer analyst for Morgan Stanley in their Fixed Income Division here in Hong Kong.

After our summer apart, we will reunite at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and then depart in December to our home continents.

Globe has had three cycles before us, the fourth batch, and we hope there will be many more to experience such a rare opportunity and privilege to see the world from a business point of view before we have begun our careers.

The 5 P's: As created by my father to help prioritize my experience.

People- Who have you met why are they meaningful to you, how have you grown because of them?

Preparation- Have you learned anything about preparation, either individually, or in a study group?

Participation- Wha thave you done that required you to stretch yourself? or impacted who you are?

Prioritization- How are you prioritizing what is important vs. just being busy?

Places- What have you seen that changes how you think about life?

+Passion: What drives you to enjoy an experience and what unexpected force makes you cherish something?

I hope to answer these in my 5 P's Page.

Enjoy my blog and feel free to comment!
